Message definitely causing the turbo to spool earlier and it also affects the turbos efficiency. This does create a bit of a problem because theoretically it also moves the maximum efficiency point (read minimum temperature production) to a lower point in the RPM range and probably produces more heat and less boost in the higher RPM range.
